Most public story-time sessions are held during the day — and that just won’t do.

So momaha began one just for you.

The last Friday of the month hosts its Evening Children’s Story Time at The Bookworm bookstore at Countryside Village, near 87th and Pacific Streets.

The next story time will be this Friday and will feature a special guest reader — a local meteorologist.

story telling

We have some fun details about this Thursday’s Bellevue story time!

Our theme is German fairy tales.

We will have two high school German language students who will read their original children’s stories – in German, then in English — at 7 p.m. at the Bellevue Public Library, 1003 Lincoln Rd.

Children’s librarian Alice Boeckman will share a story by the Grimm brothers. It will be a fractured fairy tale based on Rapunzel, titled “Falling for Rapunzel” by Leah Wilcox.
