Pregnant woman is about to be sick.

For many women, the toughest part of early pregnancy is morning sickness. Trust me, it’s the worst.

My hope was always to keep calm and composed, especially when at work. So I carried a throw-up-and-go-about-my-day business attitude.

Though morning sickness is a common enough affliction, some women — including the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton — suffer from more extreme cases.

We spoke with Dr. Shannon Clark, an OB/GYN and associate professor of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch-Galveston, about a new FDA approved treatment option.
