Since I was named momaha.com editor earlier this year, readers have asked me to post more personal blogs. I did.
In the blog, I explained how my significant other Bobby has point-blank asked me to marry him — twice. On both occasions, I skirted the question.

On a recent night, I kicked off my heels, put on yoga pants and plopped onto the couch.
My hubby, as I call Bobby, handed me a glass of red wine. I slopped a wet kiss on his cheek.
“Are you going to marry me someday?” he asked.
“Sure, how about Monday,” I joked.
He didn’t say anything. My heart sank. I did it again.
We’ve been together for seven years but aren’t married. We have two children: Alejandra, 3, and Gabriella, 14 months. Bobby has an 8-year-old son — whom I love as my own — from a previous relationship.
Bobby sees the emotional, financial and spiritual benefits of marriage; I’m just not ready.
