We hope you can join us tonight.

Former Husker and NFL player Steve Warren will be the guest story reader at momaha’s Evening Children’s Story Time 7 p.m. at the Bookworm Bookstore, near 87th and Pacific Streets.

Momaha’s Evening Story Time started as a way for parents, especially working parents, to enjoy a sit-down activity with their children.

Most public story time sessions are held during the day. So please come out and play!

Momaha and The Bookworm at Countryside Village will host an evening children’s story time every last Friday of the month.

We know it’s hard for parents, especially working parents, to pencil in community story hours to their busy schedule. Most public story time sessions are held during the day.

Think of it as a big slumber party with milk and cookies after the reading.

The next one is this 7 p.m. tonight.

It might be a little chilly outside this weekend, but there’s still plenty to do.

Our suggestion: Bundle up, and get out there.

We’ve compiled a list of what’s happening in the Omaha area this weekend.

For instance, the Papillion Library, 222 N. Jefferson St, is hosting a 10 a.m. Super Hero Party for kids ages 3 to 8.

Super games, crafts, and snacks are included. Costumes are welcomed!
