This craft was entirely the creation of my daughter.
Last spring, I rolled out some craft paper on the kitchen floor for her to finger paint. We later used the painted paper as gift wrap.
She must have had fun painting the gift wrap because she repeatedly asked if she could finger paint on the floor again. We did it again last weekend, only this time she wanted to paint with her feet. I finally caved in to her 100th request and I’m glad that I did.
Craft Paper or a cut to lay flat recycled paper bag
1. Lay your craft paper or bag flat onto the ground. Use masking tape to secure the edges.
2. Squirt washable paint onto the paper. We used the Crayola brand because it wipes clean from our kitchen floor easily.
3. Paint away! Or dance away as Alivia did!
Alivia had a blast feeling the paint between her toes and making a mess.
My only regret is that I didn’t have more paper!
I keep thinking how much more fun she would have had if the paper would have been spread out across the entire kitchen. Maybe next time.
