Momaha has a new book lined up for our monthly book club meeting.
Join us 1 p.m. Oct. 13 at The Bookworm Bookstore, near 87th and Pacific Streets, to discuss “Fangirl” by Rainbow Rowell.
Rowell is an Omaha writer who received praise for her last novel, the young adult novel “Eleanor & Park.”
She is following up with another winning young-adult book, “Fangirl.”
It’s a coming-of-age tale of fiction, family and first love.
The story follows twins Cather and Wren as they leave their single-parent dad in Omaha for college at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Wren is thrilled with the challenge and wants the independence of a roommate other than her twin sister. Cath (she prefers the nickname) is scared by just about everything she encounters in her new life as a college freshman: living in the dorm, prickly roommate Reagan, finding the cafeteria, talking to strangers.
Join us if you can. We love meeting new moms and spicing up our group with fresh voices.
