Gateway to College, a high school diploma completion program for students who have dropped out and students at risk of dropping out, will have admissions sessions for the fall quarter at Metropolitan Community College.
Students in the program earn a high school diploma and college credits toward an associate degree. The program is for ages 16 to 20 and is free to those who qualify.
Applicants must attend a two-day orientation. Information sessions are held the first day; admissions sessions are the next day. Students should plan for a three-hour block of time between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. for the admissions session. All sessions will be in Building 7 at the Fort Omaha Campus. Reservations are required at 402-457-2746.
Information sessions will run 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. July 16, 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. July 30, 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Aug. 6, 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Aug. 13 and 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Aug. 19.
