“Spank: The 50 Shades Parody,” regional tour is coming to Omaha’s Orpheum Theater this Thursday.
And, guess what? We’ve got a pair of tickets just for you.
“Spank” is a comedy parody — with some songs — based on E.L. James’ best-selling novel “50 Shades of Grey”.
It takes a fun, comic, and sexy twist on the original with a cast that includes the naive ingénue, the brooding hunk, and the charming and flighty author who takes the audience on the journey of crafting her surprise hit of a novel.
Written by comedians, sketch improvisers, and naughty actors, this is a playful parody (and not a musical, despite having six musical numbers).
Imagine many flights of fancy as the author embraces her exploration of fantasy, playing all the parts her two leads don’t.
The show will run through Saturday. Tickets range in price from $40 to $55. Information: 402-345-0606 or ticketomaha.com.
In the comments section below, tell us why you’d like to win a pair of tickets to the event.
A winner will be selected at random at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday.
