Josie Loza: Win tickets to see the Harlem Globetrotters
Josie Loza Omaha World-Herald

My introduction to the Harlem Globetrotters came via a Saturday afternoon sports TV show left playing well after my father had fallen asleep.

My eyes were glued to the screen. They were like magicians with trick shots, dribbling exhibitions and comedy skits involving buckets of either water or confetti — not to mention team members showing ball-handling skills while in a “magic circle,” to the tune of Brother Bones whistling “Sweet Georgia Brown.”

Combining athleticism, theater and comedy is what made them a world-wide success.

If you haven’t had the chance to see the team, make sure you clear your schedule on April 5.

Momaha is giving away a family 4-pack of tickets to the Harlem Globetrotters 7 p.m. performance of “You Write the Rules” World Tour at the CenturyLink Center Omaha.

Click here to register to win.

The contest ends March 28. A winner will be announced during momaha’s 2 p.m. Friday chat on March 29.

TICKET INFORMATION:

Tickets start at $20 and are on sale now. You can get your tickets at the box office, online at www.ticketmaster.com, or charge-by-phone at 800-745-3000
