Josie Loza: Omaha Fashion Week: Day 2 recap

Omaha Fashion Week’s first ever Hair, Make Up and Accessories show premiered last night at KANEKO. Seven accessories designers and seven salons teamed up to compete for a $2,000 grand prize package.

The teams were chosen on Tuesday, at the Cancer Suvivor Style Show and had 24 hours to complete an overall look that was judged by a panel.

Ruffled Runway designer, Hollie Hanash and Kontempo salon were the selected winners. (Above photo showcases’ Hanash’s collection.)

In this image, Kirby Keomysay of Kontempo is receiving award.

Tonight’s show features Children’s Wear and Bridal. Five designers will show Fall/Winter 2013 collections.
