Amy Grace: Omaha Fashion Week: Day 1 recap
Amy Grace Omaha World-Herald

Fellow blogger Danielle Herzog and I attended the Omaha Fashion Week’s Cancer Survivor Style Show at KANEKO Tuesday night.

Local boutiques from around Omaha put together collections, which cancer survivors wore with great pride as they strutted their stuff down the runway.

Women of all ages and several men too, modeled spring brights, bold patterns and beautiful details with their fashions for every age.

Danielle and I agreed that our favorite of the night was a black textured sheath with illusion sleeves from She.La boutique in Countryside Village.

It was great to see all these models primped and preening for a huge and adoring crowd at the downtown venue.

I can’t wait to see what’s in store on Friday when I attend the ready-to-wear session of Fashion Week.
