Momaha is teaming up with local artist Sally Deskins and her journal, Les Femmes Folles, to present a reading on motherhood today at the Star Deli Gallery in Benson.
The 5 p.m. reading will complement Sally’s art show closing of “What Will Her Kids Think?”
Sally’s show features body prints, drawings and photographs exploring her relationship with motherhood and her art.
The reading will feature writers Marilyn Coffey, Sally Deskins, Cat Dixon, Fran Higgins, Megan Hunt, Jessica Mogis, Rebecca Rotert, Michelle Troxclair, Felicia Webster, T. Wade, Laura Madeline Wiseman and momaha blogger Danielle Herzog.
Les Femmes Folles will be previewing “LES FEMMES FOLLES: THE WOMEN, 2012″ the book, which will be released in March. The 2011 edition will be available for purchase.
