Josie Loza: Give Fido some online lovin’, too
Josie Loza Omaha World-Herald

John Henry Müller of What Cheer dropped me a note yesterday that he’s planning something special for Valentine’s Day!

What Cheer, the Omaha-based web application design and development shop, other efforts — I live in Omaha and I love in Omaha — were huge online hits.

This Valentine’s they’re launching a dog-lover’s site.

Müller and his business partners Alex Gates and John Hobbs recently joined Pack, a new startup concept. The Pack team that also includes founder Megan Casey, who previously co-founded the online publishing platform Squidoo with author Seth Godin, and one intern.

The site is opening publicly for one day only: Valentine’s Day!

You can make your dog a profile, add photos, updates and share his super hero tagline with friends and other members.

After today, the site will be invite only until its official launch in the spring.

Here are a few teasers I received to get a better feel for what they’re building.

Just in case you were wondering…

Of course, I love in Omaha will still be up and accepting new reasons.
