I’d like to think it was her fiery red hair that caught my eyes.
But, really, it was her words.
With headlines like “A New Year, same me” and “Don’t apologize for being a working mom,” how could you not read Cat Koehler’s blogs?
Her writing evoked emotion. She made you feel weepy or tongue out happy.
You didn’t always have to agree with her — in fact, she relished the challenge when you didn’t.
Cat tackled tough parenting issues — from spanking, to disabled athletes’ rights, a genderless baby, toys in fast food meals and most recently the Connecticut school shooting – that no one else would.
She said what people thought and so badly wanted to say.
I guess that’s why I’m bummed about making this announcement.
Cat is ready to say goodbye. She’ll continue to follow momaha - not as a blogger but as a reader.
We want to wish her the very best. We’ll miss her tenacity and heartfelt blog posts.
Good luck, friend.
