I’m excited to announce a new feature on momaha.

The Sassy Housewife is a weekly advice blog written by Danielle Herzog that’ll run every Saturday.

She’ll cover the adventures in housewifery — from parenting, entertaining and recipes to the interests of a been-there-done-that and somewhat-know-it-all wife.

Danielle (photographed above) is a married mother to two children who blogs for momaha every Wednesday. She taught middle and high school students and served as a student counseling advisor in the Washington D.C. area prior to moving to Omaha.

She was a project manager for the Washington D.C.-area’s Boys and Girls Club and is currently completing her master’s degree in counseling at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

In her first advice blog, she offers tips in how to encourage your picky eater to try new things.

On Wednesday, you’ll get a glimpse of how The Sassy Housewife came to be. Danielle will take you behind-the-scenes in her weekly blog to learn more about her look — hair done by our friends and Bungalow 8 and styling by Hello Holiday.

So what’s her next advice blog topic? She’ll tackle teen sex. Well, sort of.

You’ll have to read it to understand what I mean.

Have a question? Send it our way. Email momaha@owh.com
