The General Crook House Museum, 5730 N. 30th St. in historic Fort Omaha, is decorated for the holiday season through Jan. 4. Each room has its own theme.

Self-guided tours are available 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Docent-led group tours can be scheduled. Complimentary hot cider and cookies are served daily during the holiday season.

Tour fees support the Douglas County Historical Society. To schedule a group tour or for more information, call 402-455-9990 or email house@douglascohistory.org.
