Josie Loza: Momaha play date: Saturday with Santa photos
Josie Loza Omaha World-Herald

I don’t have enough words to express my gratitude to all of the families who came out for momaha’s play date with Santa on Saturday at Shadow Lake Towne Center.

I knew Santa was a popular guy, but WOW! We had nearly 200 people in attendance at the Santa story time and photo event.

We were all tickled with joy to see the children’s expressions as Santa stepped in the room for story hour. He teased a few children, sang a few songs and read a book before meeting with little ones for photos.

Mom bloggers Cat Koehler and Tunette Powell helped with crafts tables. Kids made Christmas ornaments and necklaces, decorated sugar cookies, participated in coloring activities, blew bubbles and watched “The Polar Express.”

Mrs. Claus made a guest appearance and read to the children as well.

I loved seeing so many V.I.P.s in the house.

While children ran free, parents read the latest momaha magazine and entered our drawings.
