Josie Loza: Children’s book publisher to read at momaha’s evening story time
Josie Loza Omaha World-Herald

We really enjoyed hanging with our friends at The Bookworm Bookstore at Countryside Village last month for momaha’s Evening Children’s Story Time.

And, frankly, we’re gushing with excitement for the next one 7 p.m. today.

In fact, every last Friday of the month we’ll host one.

Author and children’s book publisher Phil Haussler of MableSpark will join us. (He’s photographed above.)

MarbleSpark is an Omaha book publisher specializing in custom-made children’s books of amazing quality and originality.

He’ll read his new holiday book, “‘Twas the Mouse Who Saved Christmas”and a few other holiday-themed books including ”How Do Dinosaurs Say Merry Christmas?” by By Jane Yolen, illustrated by Mark Teague and “Dinosaur vs. Santa” by Bob Shea.

Momaha’s Evening Story Time started as a way for parents, especially working parents, to enjoy a sit-down activity with their children. Most public story time sessions are held during the day. We encourage children to wear their pajamas and bring a teddy (or another small stuffed animal) to this story hour.

The story hour begins promptly at 7 p.m., and lasts for about 30 minutes.

We hope to see you there.

Check out a few snapshots from our last story hour.
