Josie Loza: Sprout’s Chica gets her own show

Sprout is preparing to premiere its newest original series: The Chica Show!

The premiere will launch Saturday, Nov. 24 at 11:30 a.m. ET, with encore presentations being shown at 5:30 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. ET.

This adorable little show has proven to be a positive promoter of social-emotional development in preschoolers through creative play.

The Chica Show is a mixture of animation and live action that follows the highly imaginative adventures of Chica and her cast of friends (including Stitches, an animated character voiced by Mario Lopez!) as they explore all the precious, humorous costumes and accessories in the Costume Coop – a playful shop packed with every costume imaginable.

Each episode will take viewers on a journey into Chica’s world of imagination where problems are solved, questions are answered and adventure filled lands are explored.
