Momaha and The Bookworm at Countryside Village will host an evening children’s story time every last Friday of the month.
We know it’s hard for parents, especially working parents, to pencil in community story hours to their busy schedule. Most public story time sessions are held during the day.
Think of it as a big slumber party. We encourage children to wear their pajamas and bring a teddy (or another small stuffed animal) to this story hour.
The first story hour in our monthly series is 7 p.m. Oct. 26.
At 7 p.m., we’ll read to children ages newborn to 3.
At 7:30 p.m., we’ll read a Halloween-themed book to children ages 4 and 5.
We want to make sure the books are age appropriate for both groups.
If your kids are anything like mine, they’ll fall fast asleep in the car on the ride home. It’s a win-win scenario.
Yawn. (Eye rub.) See you soon.
