Give your Husker tailgate party a makeover.

Get out from the back of a pickup truck at a football stadium or a loud, crowded bar.

Instead, this Saturday head to the World-Herald’s “Pigskin in the Park” at Turner Park at Midtown Crossing, near 33rd and Farnam Streets.

The Nebraska-Ohio State game will be shown that evening on a big screen, and you can bring a cooler.

Johnny “the Jet” Rodgers will be at the free event. He’ll be honored beforehand for the 40th anniversary of his Heisman. Johnny will pose for pictures and sign autographs.
