I wasn’t sure what to expect on the first day of Junkstock, the three-day outdoor flea market near 192nd and Dodge Streets. But the moment I had exited the interstate, I was stuck in traffic.
Sara Alexander, organizer and owner of the Junque Factory in Papillon, was astonished with this morning’s turnout. More than 300 people had walked through the 25 vendor tents within the first hour.
A few of the most popular items included: Bicycle spokes, end tables, frames, signs, garden decor and rustic-household items.
